Chris Olsen is a venture capitalist at Sequoia Capital. Chris focuses on growth stage energy, financial and technology companies.
Prior to joining Sequoia Capital in 2006, Chris worked at Technology Crossover Ventures where he was involved in private equity investments in the technology and financial services sectors and served as a board observer of eBags, Oak Pacific Interactive Corp, Whitepages.com, and Claria. Earlier, Chris was an investment banker with UBS Investment Bank where he worked on a variety of M&A, equity and debt transactions in the healthcare sector. Chris has a BA in Political Science from Yale University.
Mark has more than 20 years of experience in enterprise software and more than 10 years leading the design, development, and operation of software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions.
Prior to Bill.com, Mark served as Vice President of Platform & Engineering for Rearden Commerce, helping the company grow to over 700 customers and more than 40 distributors, while building his team to over 100 employees. Mark has also held executive Products positions at GetThere (acquired by Sabre) and Genesys Telecommunications (acquired by Alcatel).
While at Accenture, Mark worked with numerous clients implementing advanced technology based solutions and was selected as one of Accenture’s inaugural Corporate Fellows.
Mark graduated from Standford University with a BS in Mathematical and Computational Sciences and has a Master’s in Computer Science from Northwestern University. Mark also enjoys snowboarding, coaching basketball, travel, and mobile app development.
