Michael Zimbalist is chief marketing officer at Simulmedia, a marketing technology company in New York. As CMO, Michael leads brand marketing, corporate communications, product marketing and customer experience for Simulmedia’s Performance TV products and solutions.
Prior to Simulmedia, he spent 10 years at The New York Times Company, where he was most recently senior vice president of advertising products and research and development. In that role, he oversaw advertising products, systems, operations and programmatic.
He also managed The New York Times’ Research and Development Lab, which he founded upon joining the company in 2006.Throughout his 25-year career, in roles ranging from Disney Imagineer to president of the Online Publishers Association, Michael has consistently led innovation and change at the intersection of media, marketing and technology.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University in chemistry and philosophy.
