Company Presentation by Whitney Wolfe, Founder & CEO of Bumble and Lousie Troen, Director Marketing at Bumble at the Axel Springer NOAH Conference 2017 in Berlin, Tempodrom 22-23 June 2017.

Bumble is a networking app that launched in Austin, TX in December 2014. Connecting has never been more fun, safe, or awesome. Bumble shows you the people you want to see and lets you connect by a mutual opt in by swiping right. Bumble eliminates that level of awkwardness after a connection is made, and sets the stage for how the convos begin.
Bumble was born out of a desire to reinvent the antiquated rules of dating and empower women to feel confident in controlling the conversation. Women set the tone by always making the first move on Bumble. Promoting conversation has led Bumble to the highest post-match chat rate in the industry. By forcing women to make the first move, and giving men permission to be less aggressive, first connections are beginning with mutual respect that remains constant through the entire relationship. With BumbleBFF, people treat each other with positivity and encouragement. Friendships begin with the desire to empower one another. Because of the unique model of putting women in charge and employing robust reporting, Bumble has incomparably low reports of harassment and abuse. Things truly change when women are in control. Bumble believes that relationships make us human. Our core values are kindness, integrity, positivity, equality, confidence, and authenticity. We have set out to become the destination where you meet your next significant other, best friend, and most valuable business connection. We’re there for women at every phase of life. We’re about creating an empowering, safe place for modern society to meet the important people in their lives. We’re making digital relationships personal again.
